WSP Graduate Programme – Planning and Development (Civils Design) WSP is seeking enthusiastic engineering graduates to join our Planning and Development team as Civils Design Fellows. You will work on exciting and innovative projects across defence, energy, residential and logistics & distribution while gaining exposure to a broad range of industries.

Guildford, Basingstoke, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff, London, Cambridge, Liverpool, Hertford
Responsibilities
Master planning, concept and detailed civil engineering designs including highway, earthworks, surface water and foul water drainage.
Utility services coordination and design calculations.
Production of engineering reports, specifications and drawings.
Attend design team meetings and support internal and external stakeholders.
Graduate Development Programme Our two‑year programme includes core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration and on‑job experience. You will be supported through enrolment in a professional institution’s training agreement towards chartered status (ICE).
Qualifications
Graduated or currently studying for a 2:2 or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Passion for engineering and consulting, with a keen interest in the built environment.
Enthusiasm for creativity, problem solving and sharing ideas.
Desire to start work in either April or September 2026.
