THE COMPANY An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join this expanding Group of companies that manufacture specialist products for a range of industries. THE JOB You will design new products as well as modifying existing designs using Solidworks. A full life cycle project based role, you will produce calculations to verify your designs and provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process. THE CANDIDATE Ideally qualified to degree standard in Mechanical Engineering, you will be proficient in Solidworks and have had some experience designing heavy fabrications. A knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous although training will be provided where necessary. THE PACKAGE Salary between £40,000 and £55,000 depending upon experience 33 days holiday Pension scheme and Life Assurance Ongoing training and personal development
