What you'll do

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

The Lower Wait Times and System Improvement initiative is focused on improving wait times and system efficiencies in Emergency Departments and inpatient units across Winnipeg. Several projects have been implemented and now require support to monitor and assess impacts.

Work will include engaging diverse stakeholders across clinical leadership, frontline providers and developing change management adoption and reinforcement strategies.
What you'll need

Valid Change Management certification.

Training in organizational development, or coaching.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology or human resources.

10 years' experience in a change management role in a project environment. Activities should include working with and organizing stakeholders and developing change management strategies. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years.

8 years' experience in organizational change management activities. Experience should include organizational readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, development of change management plans and facilitation of adopting and implementing redesigned processes. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 8 years.

5 years' experience performing analysis and implementing change in a healthcare or public sector environment. Experience should include analysis of service delivery activities, facilitation with key stakeholders, and assisting the business through change and transformation. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.

1 year of experience working on strategic-level redesign of healthcare service delivery organizations including the alignment of clinical practices, establishment of new organizational structures, and standardization of service delivery. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.

5 years' experience in a team or project lead/manager role in a project environment. Experience should include developing plans and coaching other team members. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.

1 year of experience performing analysis work to determine how to optimize patient flow across multiple health centres. Experience should include analysis of opportunities for efficiencies and the development and execution of strategies to implement efficiencies. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year.
