Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our hard working kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety and communication. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation and delivering exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and plating guides.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, slicing, and measuring, sauces, proteins.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Work efficiently and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations and the kitchen as a whole.
- Show up on time, have a good attitude, and willingness to work
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
