Seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida! In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring that all shipments are received accurately, inspected, and processed efficiently. Your meticulous work is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting our overall logistics operations. We prioritize a safe and organized workplace, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document all incoming inventory accurately in the warehouse management system.
- Tag and label incoming items appropriately.
- Stage received goods for put-away by warehouse staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lifting guidelines and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed to support logistics operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
