Our facility in Provo, Utah is looking for skilled Shipping & Receiving Associates to manage the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This crucial role ensures that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and put away, and that outgoing shipments are processed correctly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory records, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards. A strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations is essential. We prioritize the safety of our employees and require adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds and requires the ability to stand and move for extended periods. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies.
- Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
