Join our expanding logistics operations in Provo, Utah as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and certified forklift operators to safely and efficiently manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is critical for ensuring that goods are transported, stored, and staged accurately, contributing directly to the seamless flow of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forklift operation, a commitment to workplace Safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operating various types of forklifts, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining inventory in designated areas. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, etc.) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers in a timely manner.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse racking systems.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and OSHA regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- This position may involve occasional manual Lifting of items, up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure all operations comply with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Support the overall logistics process through efficient material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic forklift maintenance checks.
- Good physical condition and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse workflow.
