This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that products are prepared correctly for our customers. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse environment, using scanning technology to locate items, assemble orders, and prepare them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Verify order details against picked items to maintain accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving and stocking.
- This position involves regular Lifting of packages, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Support the overall logistics chain through efficient order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Good stamina for standing, walking, and Lifting.
- Team-oriented and reliable.
- Must be committed to Safety standards.
