We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana! If you are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves using RF scanners, navigating the warehouse, and ensuring order accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Keep work areas tidy and free from hazards.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and team goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to Safety in all tasks.
