Are you an experienced Inventory Control Specialist passionate about maintaining accurate stock levels? We have an exciting opportunity for you in our Atlanta, Georgia facility. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity of our inventory through meticulous tracking, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse space, minimizing stockouts, and preventing inventory obsolescence. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify items for replenishment or adjustment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with the identification of obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform accurate record-keeping and data analysis.
- Experience with Lifting and moving inventory as needed.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
