Join our busy Distribution Center in Houston, Texas as a Distribution Center Associate! This role is critical to our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receipt to shipment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, stocking shelves, fulfilling orders, and preparing items for outgoing delivery. This position requires a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. You will be an essential part of our logistics network, contributing to the seamless operation of the supply chain. The ability to work collaboratively with team members is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and correctly.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety in the workplace.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is advantageous.
