We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is fundamental to our efficient logistics and supply chain operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, and packing orders. Your commitment to safety and accuracy will be paramount. All necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, and adherence to safety regulations is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize warehouse space for optimal flow.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Support shipping and receiving activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of general warehouse safety procedures.
- Must wear provided PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory management concepts.
- Experience in a logistics or distribution setting is a plus.
