You will be responsible for meticulously picking items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements and then carefully packing them for safe transit. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to accuracy. We maintain a high standard of workplace safety and expect all employees to strictly follow safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job involves considerable physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and gather items from warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Package items securely, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Operate equipment such as RF scanners.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to following safety guidelines and wearing PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems is an advantage.
