Join our dynamic Logistics team as a Material Handler in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout our facility. Your duties will encompass receiving, stocking, and retrieving materials, operating material handling equipment, and assisting with inventory control. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. This role demands physical capability, including the ability to perform significant Lifting of various materials. Safety is our utmost priority, and all Material Handlers are expected to adhere strictly to all established Safety protocols and procedures. You will be required to use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated for this role. The ideal candidate is a reliable and hardworking individual with a strong sense of responsibility. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers, transporting materials to and from designated areas, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, performing regular inventory checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE.
