Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a new challenge in Dallas, Texas? We are hiring skilled individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our state-of-the-art distribution center. This is a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining productivity and supporting our warehouse team. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to operational procedures are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as picking and packing.
- Follow all procedures related to Lifting and handling of materials.
- Identify and report any hazards or safety concerns to management.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and operational excellence.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
