We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our distribution operations. A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail are essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
