We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring optimal organization of our warehouse space. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory turnover and potential shortages.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
