We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics hub in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and dispatched. This role demands precision, speed, and a commitment to quality in a dynamic warehouse setting. Your primary duties will involve accurately locating and retrieving specified items from inventory using scanning devices and then carefully packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit. Attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining an organized workspace, assisting with inventory counts, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. Physical stamina is important, as the role involves frequent movement and considerable Lifting. We prioritize the Safety of our employees and provide all necessary PPE. Understanding basic warehouse procedures and working collaboratively with colleagues are essential components of this role. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and use provided PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Operate manual and powered equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and labels.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
