We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring efficient handling and storage of goods. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking incoming inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative atmosphere where everyone contributes to our shared success in the fast-paced logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure all tasks are completed with a focus on quality and timeliness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to handle physical tasks, including significant Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and hazard identification.
