Join our team as an Order Picker in Detroit, Michigan! We are looking for efficient and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders using an RF scanner, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. You will navigate the warehouse aisles and stage orders for packing and shipping. A strong focus on Safety and accuracy is essential. This position is key to our logistics process, ensuring that orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly. We offer a competitive wage and a positive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Follow all warehouse and logistics guidelines.
- Contribute to team efficiency and order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
