Are you an energetic individual looking for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia? We are hiring an Order Picker to support our extensive logistics operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. This involves using pick lists or electronic scanners to locate and gather items, ensuring the correct quantity and product are selected. You will also be involved in staging orders for packing and shipment, and maintaining the orderliness of picking aisles. This role is essential for maintaining our service levels and requires an individual who is both efficient and precise. The job requires significant physical activity, including walking, reaching, and bending, as well as frequent lifting of items that can weigh up to 40 pounds. Your safety is our top priority; therefore, the mandatory use of PPE , such as high-visibility vests and safety shoes, is required. We foster a culture of proactive safety awareness and expect all employees to contribute to a secure workplace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks)
- Verify product information during the picking process
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual
