Join our Virginia Beach, Virginia team as an Order Picker! We are seeking dedicated individuals to accurately and efficiently retrieve items for customer orders in our fast-paced logistics warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering correct products promptly. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy working in an active environment, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and gather products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications, utilizing RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure precision and prevent fulfillment errors.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, following all company guidelines.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for outgoing logistics.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your assigned work areas.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety protocols and warehouse operating procedures.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety footwear and vests, at all times.
- Support team efforts by assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or cycle counts.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking goals and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques when handling products to prevent personal injury and product damage.
The ideal candidate should be reliable, have a sharp eye for detail, and be comfortable working in a physically demanding role. Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous, but not mandatory, as full training will be provided. This job requires consistent standing, walking, bending, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
