We are seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our distribution center, contributing to our robust logistics network. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning and data entry.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE and safety equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed daily performance goals.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
