Join our team as a Material Handler in Fort Worth, Texas! This physically demanding role is critical to our warehouse operations, involving the movement and handling of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that inventory is stored correctly and safely. You will utilize various equipment to assist in these tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics chain. We are looking for reliable individuals who are comfortable with manual labor and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Understanding and adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is a must. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys active work and wants to be a key part of a busy warehouse operation. Your dedication will help ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport raw materials or finished products to production or storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Ensure materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform frequent and heavy Lifting, up to 70 pounds.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to Safety and the use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
