Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential overstock or stock-out situations.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to achieve inventory goals.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
  • Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory information.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
