In this position, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations within the warehouse using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Stage picked items for packing and subsequent shipment.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking practices.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and the logistics process.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
- Must be able to perform lifting duties, regularly lifting items weighing up to 45 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding logistics environment.
- Good communication skills.
