Codsall High is a comprehensive school for students in Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students and more than two hundred in its successful sixth form. Student behaviour and achievement are good (see OFSTED report). GCSE Design Technology is a popular choice at the school with more than two hundred students taking it as a GCSE option and more than thirty students taking it for A Level. Teach GCSE Design Technology (essential) and, if suitably qualified, A Level Product Design. Work in a fully staffed Technology Department that supports one another and goes the extra mile to support students. Prepare for the semester starting September 2026 (or earlier) and deliver engaging lessons that meet standards. The post is suitable for a recently Qualified Teacher at the early stage of their career or an experienced Teacher who would like to join a successful school. Excellent support will be provided within the Department and across the school to help you continue your development as a teacher.
