Responsibilities
Manage end‑to‑end solution design for Security Design Engineers, delivering design documents aligned with functional and non‑functional business requirements.
Publish new architecture patterns, key decisions, design deviations, and technical risks where appropriate.
Ensure design decisions align with strategic direction by working with enterprise architects.
Present and share solutions at design authorities and with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Provide technical thought leadership and direction to aligned projects, acting as a subject‑matter expert and consultant.
Project Support and maintain the in‑house Developed Unified Policy Portal (UPP), a web application with an Azure‑hosted Data Lake backend, used for Firewall rule recertification for CheckPoint, Illumio and Fortinet. The role involves architecting new features to incorporate new requirements to support WAF, Network Segmentation and Proxy capabilities, and assisting with re‑platforming the service to a new infrastructure.
