We’re looking for a hard‑working, creative and motivated SoC design engineer to join the team developing sophisticated processing systems used across multiple lines of business—from IoT and automotive to infrastructure computing.
Responsibilities You will be part of a team that integrates IPs and develops logic for subsystems. Your key responsibilities include:
Understanding and reviewing subsystem architecture, developing microarchitecture specifications, and reviewing verification test plans.
Debugging and fixing issues, and working with the performance analysis team to evaluate and improve system performance.
Understanding incoming IPs, interfaces, and interworking with subsystem and SoC components.
Proposing refinements to IP teams based on system‑level integration and usage.
Running design checks, fixing bugs, and identifying areas of improvement in design methodologies.
Guiding and supporting other team members, and collaborating with project management on plans and schedules.
Required Skills And Experience > Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
Experience with digital hardware design and Verilog HDL.
Understanding of complex SoC development and current design techniques.
Experience with static design checks (CDC, RDC, X‑prop, lint).
Experience creating design specifications.
Experience with Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
Strong delivery record of sophisticated RTL subsystems within reasonable timeframes.
Ability to navigate and make high‑level PPA trade-offs and articulate the rationale.
Experience with synthesis, timing analysis, and power management techniques.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience Experience with ARM‑based designs and/or ARM System Architectures.
Knowledge of memory system interconnect protocols (e.g., AMBA ACE‑Lite, AXI).
Familiarity with processor subsystems, NoCs, security subsystems, PCIe, or system power‑management flows.
Experience with SystemVerilog and verification methodologies.
