The role and opportunity The development team is composed of multiple squads. Each squad has a product manager, frontend and backend engineers.
Stack: React + Typescript on frontend, Golang on backend providing REST APIs.
We are looking for a problem solver who can work with the existing platform and front‑end engineers, collaborating closely with tech leads, design, and product managers. The role can evolve into a Senior Engineer.
Responsibilities
Writing, testing and deploying high‑quality software.
Collaborating with tech leads and engineers on future tech and processes.
Working with modern technologies and frameworks.
Participating in an Agile team.
Building relationships with product and design.
Conducting code reviews and pairing with colleagues.

Knowledge And Experience Required
3+ years of software development using strongly typed languages with at least 1 year of commercial Golang experience.
Product‑engineering experience with Golang.
Strong experience writing testable and thoroughly‑tested code.
Data modelling and database design with SQL or NoSQL.
Experience with distributed system, messaging, event‑driven architecture.
Experience delivering cloud‑based REST API solutions.
Empathetic, proactive communication; influence and collaborate across teams.
Ability to work three days a week onsite at our London office.
Nice to Have (but Not Essential)
SaaS knowledge and experience.
Microservice & messaging and event‑driven architectures.
AWS Architecture experience.
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc).
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Base salary £50,000 – £72,500 DOE + benefits.
Hybrid working: 2 days at home each week (Monday and Friday).
18 days a year working from anywhere (non‑regulated roles).
