Summary We are seeking an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join Breathe Pure, a fast‑scaling start‑up dedicated to tackling damp and mould in social housing. This hybrid role combines new business development, sales, and account management. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships within housing associations and local authorities, a proven track record in generating leads and closing deals, and a passion for improving lives through innovative solutions. This is a key commercial role in a rapidly growing sector with huge opportunities for development and progression.

Our flagship product, the IW25‑5 On‑Wall Tankless Dehumidifier, helps housing providers comply with Awaab’s Law, reduce disrepair claims, and improve tenant wellbeing, all while controlling environments to create safe, warm and healthy living conditions. We work with housing associations, local authorities, and contractors to deliver proactive, data‑driven interventions that make homes healthier and safer. Role Summary This role combines new business development, sales, and account management. The successful candidate will identify opportunities, leverage existing relationships, and manage accounts to drive growth in the social housing sector. They will drive business growth by expanding IoT Connectivity solutions across the UK. Selling our IW25‑5 On‑Wall, Tankless Dehumidifier to the social housing market to prevent damp and mould in homes is the primary objective. Building strong relationships with stakeholders in social housing, supply chain and IoT enterprises. Identify market trends and new business opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support solutions deployment and customer success. Hybrid role with travel across the UK.
Key Responsibilities Market Research & Strategy
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the social housing sector for the IW25‑5 On‑Wall, Tankless Dehumidifier.
Develop and execute strategic plans targeting housing associations and local authorities for compliance with Awaab’s Law and a preventative approach to damp and mould.
Stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and competitor activity.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and qualify leads through networking, events, and digital channels.
Build a strong pipeline aligned with growth targets.
Engage with decision‑makers to understand challenges and present solutions.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners and influential individuals.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and tailored solutions.
Ensure client satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
Proposal Development & Negotiation
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work with operations and marketing teams for seamless onboarding.
Provide feedback to inform product development.
Report on pipeline, forecasts, and performance to senior leadership.
Key Requirements Experience
Minimum 3 years in sales, business development, or account management within the social housing sector.
Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals in a B2B environment.
Strong knowledge of mobile connectivity SIM, IoT platforms and ideally dehumidification technologies is a key benefit, but not essential.
Skills
Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Skilled negotiator with a consultative approach.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
IT and CRM skills are essential.
Knowledge
Understanding of damp and mould challenges and maintenance workflows.
Familiarity with social housing compliance requirements (e.g., Awaab’s Law).
B2B sales revenue generated through LinkedIn and online channels.

Benefits
£50,000 basic salary
£63,500 commission – OTE
OTE bonus of £10,000
Total earnings £123,500 pa
Individual target year 1: £850,000 (575 units)
2.5% bonus on all sales by other team members
Flexible working arrangements, remote working with up to 30 days travel per year for exhibitions, with overnight stays
