We are actively recruiting for a Distribution Center Associate to join our growing logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is integral to our supply chain operations, requiring individuals who are ready to contribute to a productive and safe warehouse environment. You will be engaged in a range of tasks from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping, ensuring that our operational targets are met efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation, put-away, and cycle counting.
- Ensure the efficient loading and unloading of trucks.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet operational demands and deadlines.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and orders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be willing to wear and use all required PPE.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
