We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists, carefully packing them into appropriate containers, and preparing them for shipment. This position demands a high level of accuracy and efficiency to meet our service level agreements. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety regulations. The job involves regular lifting and movement of goods, so proficiency in proper lifting techniques is essential. Understanding the flow of logistics within our facility will be key to your success. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our distribution efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into designated boxes or containers.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when needed.
- Handle packages and products with care, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods through the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required PPE.
