Job Summary:
Join our growing logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as an Inventory Control Specialist! This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, performing physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying root causes of inventory issues. You will utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements and maintain accurate stock levels. Collaboration with operations, receiving, and shipping departments is key. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. A strong commitment to Safety and process improvement is essential. We are dedicated to providing a secure and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with high accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS, ensuring real-time updates.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shrinkage, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Oversee proper handling and storage of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety protocols and warehouse guidelines.
  • Utilize and enforce the proper use of PPE for all inventory-related tasks.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing goods, which may involve moderate Lifting.
This role demands precision and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. Your diligence in maintaining accurate counts and ensuring Safety contributes significantly to our success.
