Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport inventory between different warehouse zones.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Accurately record inventory movements using scanning devices or manual logs.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification required.
- Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including occasional lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent situational awareness and judgment.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE , such as hard hats and safety vests.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
