We have an exciting opportunity for a Receiving Clerk in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing all incoming shipments. This role is critical to maintaining our inventory integrity and ensuring a smooth flow of goods within our logistics network. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. You will work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. We emphasize a culture of safety and require all team members to adhere to strict guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting all inbound freight, verifying quantities and quality against shipping documents and purchase orders, documenting any discrepancies or damages, and preparing goods for distribution or storage. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate receiving records and communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Proper lifting techniques and adherence to all safety regulations are essential. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments.
- Verify product counts and quality against documentation.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory system.
- Prepare received goods for storage or further processing.
- Maintain organized receiving logs and paperwork.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a related warehouse role.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of logistics principles and warehouse safety.
