We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our Boston, Massachusetts warehouse. This position is critical to our logistics and inventory management processes, requiring a proficient individual to operate a reach truck safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and transporting inventory within the warehouse. Maintaining organized storage and ensuring the safety of yourself and others is paramount. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety protocols. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where accuracy and speed are important. We provide a supportive team atmosphere and opportunities for professional growth. Experience with warehouse management systems and familiarity with various types of racking is a plus. You will be expected to perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order. Strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The job entails significant manual dexterity and the ability to manage Loading and Unloading operations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, including Picking and Packing, when necessary.
