Our Houston, Texas facility is actively seeking skilled Forklift Operators to enhance our Logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our extensive warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating various types of forklifts to transport inventory, load and unload trucks, and assist with stocking and order fulfillment. This role demands a high level of responsibility, precision, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring timely operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely manner.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and organizing.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
We require candidates with proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center. A valid forklift certification is mandatory. The role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and standing, and requires the ability to work in a dynamic Logistics environment. Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and a strong dedication to Safety are essential.
