As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, and then meticulously packing these items for shipment. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong commitment to product quality. You will play a key part in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. Safety is our top priority; we provide comprehensive training and expect all employees to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer order items from warehouse locations.
- Verify item descriptions and quantities against order tickets.
- Inspect items for any defects or damages before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels accurately and prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station and work environment.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer is preferred.
- Ability to handle lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
