Seeking Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Portland, Oregon! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from inventory based on order details and then carefully packing these items for safe shipment. This position requires a focus on speed, accuracy, and the quality of our outgoing products. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong commitment to safety, providing all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure work environment. - Retrieve items from warehouse stock accurately per customer orders.
- Verify product information and quantities.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station and work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product damages.
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to use required PPE.
