We are hiring Picker/Packers in Madison, Wisconsin! Join our fast-paced logistics operations and contribute to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, your day-to-day will involve accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and then efficiently packing these items for shipment. Precision and speed are key in this role, as you are a direct contributor to customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with a team to maintain high standards of order fulfillment. Our commitment to safety is paramount; all team members are trained on and expected to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines. - Accurately pick requested items from warehouse inventory.
- Verify product details and quantities against order documents.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Label shipments correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding areas.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Previous experience in picking or packing is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable standing and moving for the entire shift.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards.
- Willingness to wear designated PPE.
