Our expanding logistics operations in Dallas, Texas are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of warehouse equipment maintenance and repair, as well as general warehouse duties. You will be responsible for ensuring that all material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, are in optimal working condition. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Your technical expertise is vital to minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency in our logistics center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order supplies as needed.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and order picking as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain all provided PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work area.
- Be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience with a variety of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors).
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
