We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Raleigh, North Carolina facility. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is critical to our overall logistics and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control within the warehouse.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures and systems.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock rotation.
- Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards, including the correct use of PPE.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Training other staff on inventory best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with logistics operations is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
