Are you a skilled Material Handler looking for a new challenge in Boise, Idaho? Our logistics facility is expanding, and we need your expertise to manage the flow of materials efficiently. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse. This role is critical to our supply chain operations, ensuring that materials are available when and where they are needed. You'll operate various material handling equipment and work closely with other team members to maintain smooth operations. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and all employees are expected to follow rigorous safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE. This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate machinery safely. A strong understanding of inventory management and logistics is highly valued. The ideal candidate is dependable, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, moving inventory to storage locations, staging materials for production or shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Store and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Deliver materials to designated areas for production or shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification for operating relevant machinery (e.g., forklift) is a plus.
- Ability to perform significant lifting, up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
