Responsibilities:
- Accurately record inventory levels, including receipts, adjustments, and shipments.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Maintain accurate records using our inventory management system.
- Coordinate with the receiving and shipping departments to track stock movement.
- Generate inventory reports as required by management.
- Identify damaged or obsolete stock and report it for disposition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meticulously.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques, is required.
