Join our bustling distribution center in Denver, Colorado, as a certified Forklift Operator! We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is vital to our daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods within the warehouse. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing pre-operation inspections on equipment, safely loading and unloading trucks, and transporting materials to designated areas. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company guidelines is expected. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any malfunctions.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack merchandise to designated storage areas.
- Conduct inventory checks and record quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including lifting.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and operational efficiency programs.
