Your duties will include preparing shipments, verifying order accuracy, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining comprehensive shipping records. Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all established safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE is mandatory for all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify product counts and order details before dispatch.
- Schedule and coordinate with transportation providers.
- Generate and maintain shipping labels, manifests, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and external partners.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure packages are correctly packed and labeled for transit.
- Follow all safety guidelines and utilize the necessary PPE.
- May involve lifting and moving boxes up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics/administrative role.
- Familiarity with shipping software, order management systems, and general office productivity tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of shipping procedures and documentation requirements.
