Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

We are an elevated sports bar in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, known for great food, refreshing drinks, and an unbeatable game-day atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team, develop innovative menu offerings, and ensure the highest food quality and consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Develop and execute a creative, high-quality menu that aligns with our sports bar concept
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a strong, team-oriented culture
  • Maintain food cost control, manage inventory, and coordinate ordering with vendors
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Work closely with the General Manager and ownership to implement specials, seasonal menus, and promotions
  • Supervise food prep and execution during peak hours, ensuring timely and accurate orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning kitchen environment
  • Monitor and enforce portion control, waste management, and food presentation standards
  • Lead by example, maintaining a positive, professional, and high-energy kitchen culture

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant or bar
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
  • Expertise in food safety, sanitation, and NYC health department regulations
  • Experience managing kitchen staff, schedules, and labor costs
  • Passion for food quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and game days
  • Food Handler's Permit required
