Seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our high-volume logistics facility in Seattle, Washington. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload a wide variety of materials and products within the warehouse. Your role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of goods, supporting inventory management, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong safety record, excellent maneuvering skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. This position requires constant vigilance, adherence to all safety regulations, and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will perform daily inspections of your forklift and report any maintenance needs promptly. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team is essential. We value commitment to safety and efficiency in all aspects of our logistics. This role involves significant lifting and requires physical dexterity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE use.
- Assist with inventory control and other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe forklift operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
