Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for speed and accuracy? We're looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse operations in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be the linchpin in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packaging those items for safe transit, and preparing orders for shipment. This role demands precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. You will be working within a busy distribution center, so an understanding of inventory flow and Logistics is beneficial. We prioritize the well-being of our staff, which means strict adherence to Safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse locations based on pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Inspect products for defects before packaging.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
